Sharee joined Verve Family Doctors in 2021 as a GP registrar and returned in 2022 as one of our permanent doctors. She enjoys all areas of women’s health and preventative health.

Sharee graduated from Monash University in 2016, after having completed degrees in both Science and Biomedical Science in 2011. She spent 3 years working at Eastern Health gaining experience in general medicine, obstetrics & gynecology and paediatrics, before deciding to specialise as a General Practitioner. Sharee loves being able to get to know her patients and their families, and work collaboratively on their goals. When Sharee is not working she enjoys keeping active with pilates, hiking or indoor rockclimbing, spending time with family and friends or reading a good book.

Fees charged by Dr Sharee Walford

Dr Walford’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Aged Pensioners will be bulk billed. Other concession and Health Care Card holders will be charged a substantially discounted fee.

Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

 Telehealth: consultations are charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments (see fees above).

Missed Appointment fee:  Dr Walford may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least four hours’ notice.

Additional service types and fees:
Full payment is charged at the time of the visit, leaving the following out-of-pocket GAP after Medicare reimbursement of the relevant item numbers.
