Dr Rosie Gentle is a GP with special interests in women’s health and paediatric medicine. She is accredited to do shared care through Eastern Health, Monash Health, Mercy Hospital, and the Royal Women’s Hospital.
Dr Gentle undertook her certificate in Women’s Health whilst completing her obstetric term at Eastern Health where she did her training before coming to general practice. She also has a huge passion around planning for pregnancy, and helping couples who have difficulty in conceiving including letrozole ovulation induction.
Dr Gentle loves treating perimenopause, menopause and female specific conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis and menstrual abnormalities. Dr Gentle is experienced in Implanon (contraceptive rod) insertion and removal as well as the removal of intrauterine devices. Dr Gentle has also successfully completed her Sydney Child Health Program course (formally diploma of child health) to help her further subspecialise and look after her younger patients. Dr Gentle loves talking about all things to do with contraception, pre pregnancy and pregnancy but also loves general medicine and seeing patients of all ages. In her spare time, Dr Gentle loves spending time with her young family and pets and does enjoy assisting in caesarean sections at some private hospitals as well.

Fees charged by Dr Rosemary Gentle
Dr Gentle’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Aged Pensioners will be bulk billed. Other concession and Health Care Card holders will be charged a substantially discounted fee.

Standard fees apply to all appointments for children and babies, including those with immunisations if they are booked in with a GP
Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Telehealth: consultations are charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments (see fees above).
Missed Appointment fee: Dr Gentle may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least four hours’ notice.

Skin Checks
For checking a skin spot a 15 minute consultation is required, 30 minutes for a whole body check. Standard consult fees apply, including aged pensioners. Fees for procedures and excisions will be dependent on complexity and will be discussed if required.
