Our History
North Mitcham Clinic was established in 1960 and in 2013, Wickham Clinic of Nunawading (est. 1983), merged with North Mitcham Clinic to extend their coverage to an even wider community. In October 2020, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, North Mitcham Clinic rebranded as Verve Family Doctors, to reflect the vibrant group of people working for your better health.
Our Values
Clinical excellence is at the core of our work and the independent practitioners consulting from our practice are always learning and sharing expertise with each other. While you see them individually for consultations, we do work together with your health team. Your GP is your compass through the healthcare system and we will always work collaboratively with you and your medical team including specialists and allied health professionals.
The practitioners who work from our premises bring a comprehensive range of medical services and we encourage you to look at their profiles. Our nursing support staff assist independent practitioners to run our chronic disease program . The Chronic disease management program covers management of overweight/obesity, irritable bowel syndrome, osteoporosis, diabetes, heart disease, kidney impairment, osteoarthritis and many more!
