Archie has special interests in skin cancer, chronic disease management and men’s health. He also enjoys performing skin checks and minor skin lesion removals.

Archie is an Australian trained General Practitioner with a strong interest in chronic disease management, rehabilitation medicine, men’s health and skin cancer care.
He provides comprehensive skin checks, skin cancer removal and a range of minor procedures, delivering thorough, patient-centered care with a focus on long-term wellbeing.
As a father of two Archie understands the importance of family health and maintaining balance, and enjoys staying active, building Lego and travelling in his spare time.

Fees charged by Dr Archie Vigneswaran

Dr Vigneswaran’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Aged Pensioners will be bulk billed. Other concession and Health Care Card holders will be charged a substantially discounted fee.

Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Telehealth: consultations are charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments (see fees above).

Missed Appointment fee:  Dr Vigneswaran may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least four hours’ notice.

Additional service types and fees:
Full payment is charged at the time of the visit, leaving the following out-of-pocket GAP after Medicare reimbursement of the relevant item numbers.

Skin Checks

For  a skin check a 15 minute consultation is required, Standard consult fees apply. Aged pensioners will be bulk billed. Fees for procedures and excisions will be dependant on complexity and will be discussed if required.
