Dr Tristan Htut had the primary medical degree in Myanmar (Burma). He migrated to Australia from 2012. He has then obtained his medical training in many hospitals across Australia. He finished General Practice Training in South Australia. He has worked in Australia as a doctor for more than 10 years.
He has a great interest in skin and paediatric medicine. He enjoyed doing skin procedures and removing skin lesions. He enjoys working with all walks of life from birth to elderly people. He has done diploma in Child health by Westmead hospital in Sydney. His passion is to give quality care to his patients, while he would like to enjoy his free time in the gym, swimming pool and bike riding.
Fees charged by Dr Tristan Htut
Dr Htut’s fees are guided by the AMA recommended rates. Aged Pensioners will be bulk billed. Other concession and Health Care Card holders will be charged a substantially discounted fee.
Patients who hold a DVA card are billed according to DVA Guidelines (see https://www.dva.gov.au/access-benefits/veteran-card). Visits by Gold card holders are almost always billed to DVA, while visits by White card holders can only be billed to DVA for eligible conditions.

Telehealth: consultations are charged at the same rate as face-to-face appointments (see fees above).
Missed Appointment fee: Dr Htut may charge a fee if you miss your appointment, and do not cancel with at least four hours’ notice.

Full payment is charged at the time of the visit, leaving the following out-of-pocket GAP after Medicare reimbursement of the relevant item numbers.

Travel consults
Travel to Africa and South America is booked as 30 minutes, while other destinations are booked as 15 minute appointments. This appointment must be booked through reception as a booking with the nurse is also required . All travel consultations attract the standard out of pocket GAP amount. Appointments (after Medicare rebates) are shown in the table above.
Skin Checks
For checking a skin spot a 15 minute consultation is required, 30 minutes for a whole body check. Standard consult fees apply. Aged pensioners will be bulk billed. Fees for procedures and excisions will be dependant on complexity and will be discussed if required.
Iron Infusion
An Initial 15 minute appointment would be required to organise the iron infusion. Once completed an hour appointment is required to be booked with the nurse through reception.
